Finding ease within difficulty

Life will always throw you off balance at some point.

It doesn’t matter how much you practise and how much you understand about self-regulation - at some point, you’ll get thrown a curveball.

In all honesty, a true sign of health and regulation isn’t in never feeling down, stressed or off balance but in the ability to be with the experience of dysregulation and come back. To not get stuck and overwhelmed but instead have the ability to self-soothe and the resilience to return to balance, to remain grounded through difficulty.

Well that sounds great but how do you do that?

You need a practice and a system you can turn to.

When you have a system, you know exactly what practices are going to support you in returning to balance.

When you have a system you know your own body & mind.

You know its signals.

Your body speaks and you listen.

You interpret its signals and you adjust your practice to support yourself.

Your practice changes with you and you know exactly how to change it.

A regular practice creates resilience and a sense of safety.

Safety because you know you’re held and you can support yourself wherever you’re at.

This is where the transformation happens.

When you’re feeling off balance, do you know how to rebalance? What’s your process like?
