Norfolk 2022

Join us in beautiful Norfolk this summer for an exclusive retreat of yoga, breath & meditation.

June 17 - 20 2022

Escape the city

Leave the city rush behind & join us in this beautiful, quiet, country manor. The manor is set in the Norfolk broads, and is also just a short ride away from the beach. With each room providing it’s own luxury experience, it’s up to you whether you’d like to spend your free time exploring the local area or taking your time to rest at the manor.

Deepen your practice

The purpose of this retreat is to help you tune your attention inwards, facilitated by the practices of yoga, breath & meditation. Start each day with pranayama (breath) & meditation before heading in to an energising rocket or mandala inspired vinyasa practice. In the evening join us for a gentle restorative practice to soothe your nervous system & get you ready to slow down for the evening.

Nourish your mind, body & soul

Aside from giving you the space to nourish yourself through your practice, you’ll also have all your meals provided for you, with a bespoke menu created just for this retreat by our in house chef.

All food will be healthy & the menu designed with the intention to nourish you from the inside out. You’ll be served a buffet brunch after each morning practice, have snacks or a light lunch provided & a nutritious dinner with healthy dessert. All meals will be vegan or vegetarian. If you are vegan (like Cecilia!) you will be fully catered for.

Let go of stress

Let this retreat lift the weight off your shoulders. You’ll be completely taken care of from start to finish, leaving you the space to relax & simply be.

We’ll also be bringing our own masseuse to the retreat so you can soothe your mind & muscles.

Meet your teachers

  • Cecilia Ballan

Cecilia sees the physical practice as a journey from outward physical expression into an exploration of your own inner landscape, emphasising breath & self-observation as tools to bring you into a space of meditation & feeling of wholeness, uniting mind, body and soul.

Cecilia encourages students to bring a playful & lighthearted approach to their practice, meeting each student with compassion & attention to their individual needs. Finding her passion within the rebellious spirit of the rocket, she has continued to dive deeply into expanding her knowledge & teaching to also specialise in nidra meditation & pranayama, facilitating deeper states of peace & heightened awareness.

  • Kat Polski

Kat discovered yoga in 2012 and has been teaching Rocket Yoga, Ashtanga and Yin from 2016. Kat works with an intention to help others discover the benefits of yoga as a tool to connect with themselves. She’s passionate about a holistic approach to wellbeing and mental health. In her teachings she strives to combine yoga with healthy diet, mindfulness, psychotherapy and neuroscience amongst other disciplines and techniques.

Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned yogi you will find yourself in a safe and fun space - everyone’s welcome!

3 nights luxury accommodation where we have exclusive access to the whole manor.

    All towels & linens.

  • Transport to the manor. There are trains from Liverpool St Station in London (2.5 hours, from £16) - and a 10 minute taxi ride (about £10) from the station, we will coordinate taxis from there so you can share with a fellow retreater.

Taxis to the beach, we will however coordinate this.

We will be bringing a masseuse with us but massages can be booked & paid for privately with them.

  • This retreat will be planned to suit all levels. You will be guided by two experienced teachers who will tailor the classes to suit the group.

Whether you’re an experienced practitioner or are newer to the practice, you’ll be met exactly where you are & be supported in deepening your practice.

  • Of course!

Coming alone can be a wonderful experience as it leaves you completely open to connecting with fellow retreaters & hosts.

If you’re worried about sharing a room with someone you don’t know, you can opt for a single occupancy room.

If you’d like to share with someone, we’ll pair you with someone we think you’ll get along with.

  • This retreat is all about journeying inwards & making space for you. We would love for you to join all our offerings, but if making time for you means skipping meditation to sleep a little longer or deciding to stay at the beach until dinner, that’s completely up to you!

  • Definitely! Our chef will be creating a bespoke menu just for our retreat. When you sign up, you will be asked if you have any dietary requirements so that this can be incorporated into the menu & you will be fully catered for.

All food will be vegan or vegetarian.

  • If you’d like to use a payment plan, you’ll initially secure your spot with a £200 non-refundable deposit.

From there, you’ll be able to split the remainder over how ever many months are left before the retreat with full payment due 1 month before the start.

For example, if you booked a twin room with ensuite at double occupancy you could pay the £200 deposit then split the remainder over 5 monthly payments of £90.
