Day 3: Breath & Energy
Welcome to day 3 of this 5 day experience!
Today, we're going to be connecting with the breath & allowing it to guide us to the energy body.
To be with the breath is to be with the divine, to make contact with exactly that which animates your body.
Through connecting with the body, we now begin to explore the breath.
Initially physically. You begin to notice the movement of the breath in your body - the movement of your belly, the movement of your chest, the sensation of air moving through your nose & throat.
Each breath has a profound effect on you - both your physiology & psychology.
With each changing emotion, your breath will change.
Initially, you just notice this. When you feel a change in emotion, notice how your breath changes with it. This will correspondingly change your heart rate, this will alter your your nervous system response & what hormones are circulating through your body.
Once you become familiar with your natural breathing patterns, you can begin to play with it.
Now you get to choose whether you'd like your emotions to alter your breath & physiology or whether you'd like to use your breath to change your emotions & physiology.
Eventually, you notice the breath as flows of energy through the body. Here begins the exploration of the energy body.
Here is also the portal to an expanded sense of self, as the breath begins to expand into everything, so can you.

Throughout your day, can you keep coming back to noticing your breath?
What does your natural breath feel like? What is its depth & rhythm?
Are your inhales & exhales the same length or is one longer than the other?
Do you notice your breath change when your emotions & thoughts do?
