Sometimes it’s felt like I’ve been presented with challenge after challenge.

Yet each time I’ve managed to come out feeling more resilient and having understood a new depth within myself.

This decade I:

Healed from depression, anxiety and burnout

Transformed my mind from being a busy, hostile place to being one of spaciousness and self compassion.

I can easily see what made the biggest shift for me.

It wasn’t until I came to yoga that things really started to shift for me…

A combination of yogic philosophy and psychology are what allowed me to become more focused, understand the workings of my own mind, while subsequently untangling my ego and identity away from constantly needing to ‘do’ and achieve.

Understanding my nervous system and physiology empowered me to work with my physiology to quickly change my state.

Exploring yoga, meditation & breathing practices gave me practical tools to continually regulate and come back to myself in a short space of time.

This is the framework I use when working with any clients and is exactly what has allowed me to:

→ work in the high pressure environment that is mental health care

→ pivot my career to teaching yoga and combine this with mental health

→ travel solo multiple times

Throughout this time, one of the biggest accelerators for me has been accessing 1:1 support and it’s become one of the things I value most.

Accessing 1:1 support has allowed me to explore myself in much greater depth, which has given me the space to deepen my relationships and come to them from a more authentic place.
